ĭagtekin thanked Constantin for the “creative freedom you have given me” and said he was looking forward to several more years with the studio. Suck Me Shakespeer was remade as the Spanish-language hit No manches Frida. LUXEMBOURG A criminal who can barely spell is forced to become a substitute teacher in Suck Me Shakespeer (Fack ju Ghte), the new comedy from Turkish-German director Bora Dagtekin and star Elyas. The Suck Me Shakespeer films are gentle takedowns of the country’s school system and The Perfect Secret parodies the problems of modern-day cell phone addiction. Turkish For Beginners is a light-hearted look at German multiculturalism and racial stereotypes. In addition to their commercial success, Dagtekin’s films, which he pens himself, have received critical praise for their treatment of socially-relevant themes. Extending their exclusive deal with the 41-year-old writer-director put the company on solid footing for the next five years. Dagtekin films have become a key part of Constantin’s output. His German-language comedies - Turkish For Beginners (2012), Suck Me Shakespeer 1-3 (2013-2017) and The Perfect Secret (2019) have grossed more than $270 million at the local box office for Constantin, drawing in some 29 million viewers. Not a bad movie, just nothing new and no surprises for the viewer.Dagtekin has been five for five so far. It suffers from exactly the same problems as similar trilogies at the point of the third installment. If you did not care for the first two movies, this one is definitely not for you. If you truly enjoyed the first two movies, you will still like this one. This is not unsurprising for a comedy, but compared to the predecessors it is just not as good. The second part of the movie gets more interesting and starts following a clearer story-line, albeit in a linear and predictable way. It throws around jokes that are not new, really. It wants to continue where the predecessors left off, but not really. The movie wants to establish the situation, but not really. Prime Video, also marketed as Amazon Prime Video, is an American Internet video on demand. Maybe this is why the first half-hour of the movie also seemed a bit like not having a clear purpose at all. Reviews, watch Suck Me Shakespeer 2 online, trailer, ratings. Overall I just felt like the two movies never happened and we are seeing more or less the same thing again. The same thing goes for the jokes, which are very similar to the two previous movies, too similar even. In general the movie seems to re-establish many things for viewers who have not seen the first two movies. This movie reboots the whole thing by making our guy dislike the children at first, only to let him warm up throughout the movie once more. In the first two movies, the main protagonist (the ex-con teacher) gradually opened up to the children, became friendlier, and started to care for them. To me it seemed like the movie does not really know what it wants to do. Now the third movie's setting is back where it all started: at school. The second movie played in an entirely different environment which added a few new elements to the story. The first movie was surprisingly good and not as expected. This is the third part of a trilogy and as such the novelty of the scenario is fading.
